RSA Authentication Manager reports "Failed to save license record" during installation

Issue

During the installation of RSA Authentication Manager 6.1 the following errors may be reported:

"Failed to save license record"
"Error 25000.Error upgrading license record (1)"

The installation will then roll back and uninstall.

Resolution

Ensure the license files have the read only attribute removed.

In Windows Explorer:
- Select the license files
- Right click on the selected files and select Properties from the context menu
- Ensure Read Only on the General tab is unchecked
- Click OK
