Disable Flash Player 9 Update Prompt

Issue

Adobe Flash Player will prompt to download updates 30 days after being installed.

This can be disable interactively or unattended.

Resolution

This can be disabled via the Flash Player Settings Manager:

To disable the updates in an unattended install:

- Create the following UTF-8 encoded text file:

%SystemRoot%\System32\Macromed\Flash\mms.cfg
AutoUpdateDisable=1
