SRM Encountered LUN with duplicate number when adding a DS4800 Array Manager

Issue

When adding a DS4800 Array Manager to VMware Site Replication Manager, the following error may be encountered:

[YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS.SSS 'PrimarySanProvider' 3648 error] Encountered LUN '600a0b800011a49c0000c1684880cb31' with duplicate number '85000000600a0b800011a3f600362e4d450f50ce;2;''

Duplicate LUN ID's can be seen in the log:

Resolution

LUN IDs mapped to hosts or host groups must be unique across the SAN, not just unique to the host or host group.

Within IBM Storage Manager:

- Select the Mappings View tab
- Click on the storage system at the root level of the left pane
- The Defined Mappings can now be sorted by clicking on the LUN column to see duplicates
