When using client printers with the Citrix Universal Printer driver (UPD) on XenApp 6.0 the printer may show as greyed out. When the printer is opened, the title at the top shows Offline and the print job is continually restarting.

Using a printer driver other than the Citrix Universal Printer resolves the issue. Unlinking the group policy objects resolves the issue.

The group policy setting "Override print driver execution compatibility setting reported by print driver" causes this failure of the Citrix Universal Printer driver. Set this to unconfigured to resolve the issue.
